Challenge
Velour Garments is a Barcelona-based label built on one principle: the highest quality cut and sew garments, handcrafted from organic cotton by textile artisans in Spain. With 165K followers and a loyal community drawn to their heavyweight fabrics and considered construction, the brand had carved out a strong position in the premium basics space. The gap was in bottoms. Cargo pants and cargo shorts — a more technical, utility-driven category — required a production capability and construction expertise that sat outside their existing setup.
Goal
We took on the cargo pants and cargo shorts as a dedicated production project, handling development and manufacturing end-to-end. For a brand with Velour Garments’ standards, the brief was precise: construction and finish that held up against everything else in the range, sourced and produced to the same standard of quality their customer had come to expect. The technical demands of utility bottomswear — hardware, pocket construction, seam strength — were managed with the same attention to detail the brand applies to everything it puts out.
Result
Velour Garments extended their range into bottoms without extending their internal production capability. The cargo pants and shorts landed as a coherent addition to the line — built to the standard the brand is known for, and delivered by a partner who understood what that standard actually meant.
